As part of the "A Summer in Paris" operation, the Opéra National de Paris is creating a pop-up store in "Printemps de la Femme” showcasing its collection of official merchandise (candles, books and other goodies) celebrating its 350th anniversary.
Originally known as the Académie Royale de Musique and founded by Louis XIV in 1669, the Opéra National de Paris enjoys a world-class reputation and has staged works by many of the greatest composers and choreographers.
As part of the partnership, the Opéra Garnier agreed to open its doors to the Printemps teams resulting in a truly exceptional fashion shoot. Want to spend an unforgettable night at the Opera? Consult the programme of events for the 2019-2020 season.
In the meantime, treat yourself or a loved one to an Opéra Garnier mug to remind you of this magnificent opera house and the hard-working apprentice dancers know as ‘petits rats’ (little rats) in French.
